Vinyasa is a flowing, dynamic yoga practice that cultivates presence by connecting movement with breath. At Kindness Yoga, the Steady Vinyasa class format emphasizes deep inner awareness, via a slow to moderate pace and the inclusion of subtle energetic awareness practices. These classes are less about flowing through many poses, and more about creating a sense of flowing energy and intention. In addition to posture practice, these classes may include guided visualizations, pranayama (breathwork), mantra, mudra, bandhas, and philosophical / metaphysical teachings. Our diverse family of teachers creatively sequence these elements to reflect their unique personalities while building heat, exploring energy and fostering greater self-awareness. This practice will build your inner and outer strength, improve your balance, and reduce stress while increasing vitality and athleticism.
